OUR STORY
How it All Began
It all started with Talula. We, Jon & Julie, purchased Talula in 2019 with the intent of breeding her. When we got her she was our first French Bulldog. She joined her older sisters, Ellie & Pepper, and we absolutely fell in love! Talula had her first litter in December 2021. We LOVED watching and helping Talula raise her litter. It was then that we knew we wanted this to be our future. We strive to provide families with French Bulldogs that they will love. We aim to produce French Bulldogs that are healthy, structurally sound and raised with love.
Since we began we have added 3 boys and 4 girls! We have also welcomed Isabelle and Bryton to the team! It is wonderful that our children and their partners want to become a part of the business!

WHEN CAN PUPPIES GO HOME?
Puppies are able to go home at 8 weeks. Even though that is the case, we like to send ours home a little bit later at 12 weeks. If you look at the stages that puppies go through, 8 weeks is when their fear stage begins. We want our puppies to come to you well rounded and socialized! Of course, if you want your puppy to come home at 8 weeks that is fine!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PET AND FULL RIGHTS?
A pet is exactly that. A pet. Dogs sold as pets are dogs that are not intended for breeding.  All of our dogs come with AKC paperwork. However, a dog purchased with Full Rights means you are able to breed your dog.

WHAT IF WE LIVE OUTSIDE OF NC AND WOULD LIKE A PUPPY OF YOURS?
That is no problem at all! We are able to fly the puppy for you for a fee of $500 + cost of the flight! Puppies fly with us or a flight nanny in the cabin so they are well taken care of throughout the journey! If you are in parts of South Carolina, Virginia, or Georgia, we are able to meet you half way for an agreed upon fee.

WHY DO PUPS WITH FULL RIGHTS COST MORE?
The simplest answer is when you buy a dog with full rights you are paying for the right to breed that dog and investing in the future of your program.

WHAT DOES "WHELPING" MEAN?
Whelping means to give birth. As breeders we also use it as a term for the time between birth and when puppies go to their furever homes.

ARE THERE MAJOR DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MALES AND FEMALES?
If you are looking for a pet we have found that males are much more relaxed than females. From our experience our males like to cuddle more than our females. Our females like to cuddle but it is more on their terms. For dogs that are purchased with full rights and will not be spayed/neutered, you need to be aware that your female will go in to heat around every 6 months and will need to be kept away from any intact males. For intact males they need to have an eye kept on them if they are out and around intact females.

WHAT IS A GUARDIAN HOME?
A guardian home is for clients who would like a puppy from us at a reduced rate with the understanding that the pup will still be a part of our breeding program. For females, we would have her in our home during heats and whelping. We do not start breeding our females until their second heat, at least. Their heats come around every six months. On their second heat we would care for the girl through heat, pregnancy, and raising the puppies. Which is around 4 months total. When the puppies are 8 weeks your girl would go back to you. Once she has had 3 litters, she will be yours outright. For males you would get a puppy at a reduced rate and keep them intact. We would be in communication to be able to use him as a stud with our girls or other clients. Once he is done working (4 -5 years or age) he would be all yours.

WHAT IS A CO-OWN?
A co-own with us is a pup that we own together for the purpose of breeding. You would purchase the puppy at half the cost of their total cost. We would decide who keeps the pup in their home. All vetting, food, and care for necessities would be the responsibility of whomever keeps the pup. All expenses having to do with breeding would be split 50/50 between us. For the sale of pups, profits would be split 60/40 to whichever party is whelping the litter. Both parties will promote the puppies in order to place them in their furever homes. After 3 litters the pup would be yours.
