This is a TOUGH post to write. Today our Coca x Earl puppies arrived! The x-ray showed 7 puppies. She did have 7 puppies however we came home with 3. One puppy was still born. Another puppy was a water puppy. 2 puppies had cleft pallets and 3 were completely healthy. The two with cleft pallets have gone home with @savetheclefts so that they will have the best chance at growing big and strong. We are so grateful to everyone @homesteadvethospital and @infinitycanine_ik9 can for always providing the best care. We are extremely thankful that Dr. Stewart told us about Save the Cleft’s the last time we had a clefty. We are thankful 3 of the puppies are healthy, doing well, and latching. Cocoa is also doing wonderfully. This business is so tough and so much is out of your hands. We want to thank our vets, our friends and family who support us, and breeders who have become friends through this journey. Without ALL of them we would not be where we are. Please send good vibes/prayers/happy thoughts (whichever aligns with your beliefs) for the three we came home with and the two that went home with Save the Clefts 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
